Mitsubishi GTO/3000GT Coil on plug kit. This kit replaces the original'temperamental' ignition system used in the Mitsubishi GTO/3000GT. Replacing the original coilpacks, HT leads and the PTU with VAG smart coils found on the Bentley Continental etc. 6x Machined Aluminium coil holders. 6x connectors pre-wired with the necessary lengths to ease fitment into your GTO/3000GT. 6x Stainless bolts and washers for the holders. The pre-wired connectors have colour coded 2.5m signal wires to easily reach your ecu alongside power and ground wires, all appropriately sized high quality automotive cable. These coils not only provide a stronger sparks than the original setup but they also allow you to run sequential ignition unlike the wasted spark factory setup. We have run this setup on our in-house Mitsubishi GTO for several years now with no issue, see video.. This setup requires the use of a standalone ecu such as Haltech/Link etc. That both allow you to modify ignition coil dwell values (That can be provided) and also allows you to run the tacho directly from a DPO from the ECU.
