MX5/Miata 1.6 COPs Conversion kit (Wired). PLUG AND PLAY FOR ALL YEARS NA 1.6 MK1/Miata. If you are looking at this kit then you probably already know what it is. Are you building a Turbo or Supercharged MX5, if so then our Coil over plug kit is for you!
This kit paired with a standalone ECU like ME221/ME442 or Megasquirt/Speeduino will enable you to run more boost and give your car a more efficient spark at the very least. We run these very kits on all of our boosted MX5's ranging from Professional Drift and Track vehicles, down to fast road cars. All our kits are sealed and insulated to protect the wiring and your rocker covers. All kit's are comprised of Branded components, nothing is Aftermarket!

Unlike most kit's in the UK our's is pre-wired, all you will need to decide on is which fire-mode you want to run, install the provided coil packs and drive. Our provided instructions will go through all of this for you, we are also happy to assist in all installs.
We do advise you run an aftermarket ECU that is able to run these types of coils, it is possible for the stock ECU to run them but you will need to reduce the dwell time. On aftermarket ECU's be sure to lower your Dwell to 2.5ms at 12v.
