Zeroth Industriez Rb25 (series 2) R8 Coilpack Conversion Kit
PLEASE CHECK ALL THE PHOTOS TO ENSURE THAT YOU CHOOSE THE CORRECT KIT. (THE RB25 S1&S2 VS THE RB25-NEO HEADS HAVE DIFFERENT MOUNTING LOCATIONS FOR THE BRACKET). ALSO BE CAREFUL TO ENSURE THAT YOUR IGNITION LOOM HAS THE CORRECT CONNECTOR FOR THE KIT YOU CHOOSE. IT IS POSSIBLE THAT YOU HAVE A EARLIER/LATER ENGINE VARIANT IN A LATER/EARLIER MODEL CAR. IF YOU ARE STILL UNSURE PLEASE DON'T HESITATE TO GET IN TOUCH AND DOUBLE CHECK.
Included in this kit are the following components. Zeroth Industriez Coil mounting bracket and all required hardware. Zeroth Industriez-X-DZRWIRE ignition wiring loom. Suitable for forward facing plenums only. It is possible to fit these coils under a standard J-pipe, but it does require modification (removal of some material/tabs from the J-pipe). Fitment will still be very tight and there will likely be contact between coil 4 and the J-pipe (which isn't ideal). DOES NOT allow for fitment of OEM valley cover.
R8 COILS ARE KNOWN TO RUN WELL ON RB ENGINES WITHOUT TUNING, ALTHOUGH WE WOULD ALWAYS RECCOMMEND FINE TUNING YOUR DWELL SETTINGS FOR OPTIMUM PERFORMANCE & RELIABILITY. The loom is designed to completely bypass the OEM igniter (igniter is no longer required an these coils have built igniters).
Zeroth Industriez only supply NGK Audi U5014 (R8) ignition coils as they are tried, tested, and trusted. Be cautious of other sellers that state "R8 style" or "equivalent" coils, as these will be cheaply made, weak, and unreliable. NGK are leaders in this field, and we supply their coils for good reason. Coils may be removed from their boxes for packaging purposes (although original boxes will be flattened and included).
